Date spread

You only need 2 ingredients to get this delicious vegan date spread, delicious on a sandwich, pancakes, or stir it into your batter to sweeten, dilute it a bit with some extra almond milk and pour it over an ice cream or pastry.


  • 100 g Medjoul dates (Approx. 5)(Make sure the dates are not sugared!)

  • 175 ml unsweetened almond milk.


  1. De-seed the dates.

  2. Boil the Medjoul dates in the almond milk for about 20 min.

  3. Until a thick mass is formed.

  4. Let this cool down.

  5. Blend well to a homogeneous mass.

  6. (Be sure to use a blender or hand blender that is certainly powerful enough for this, otherwise the spread will remain stringy.)

  7. Put this in a jar and let it cool in the fridge.
