If you asked the ancient Incas to name their ‘go to’ superfoods, maca would have been top of the list.
The maca plant belongs to the brassica (mustard) family and like broccoli and cauliflower, is a cruciferous vegetable.
Ingredients:
1 serving:
15 g (Lean) chocolate protein powder.
1 tsp (raw) Maca powder.
1 tsp (raw) cocoa.
125 ml Milk of your choice. (I used unsweetened almond milk).
50 g Low-fat quark or Greek yogurt.
15 g (Homemade) granola. (Recipe in feed).
25 g (frozen) red fruits.
5 g Fine coconut flakes.
Pinch of cinnamon
Directions:
Blend the powders together with milk and yogurt or cottage cheese to a homogeneous porridge.
Pour this into a bowl and finish with the other ingredients.
Ready.
