Chocolate oven-backed banana package with coconut and peanut butter.

Do you love banana and chocolate? Then this recipe is definitely for you! With only 4 ingredients, this meal is done in no time! I ate it for breakfast, but it can also be served as a snack or as a dessert on the BBQ (put the package on the coals).


Per portion:

  • 1 ripe banana. (not overripe)

  • 10 g Chocolate buttons.

  • 10 g Peanut butter

  • 5 g Coconut shavings


  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

  2. Make a slit through the skin of the bananas along one side, making sure you don’t cut all the way through to the other side. (if necessary, remove a piece of the peel about 1 cm wide.).

  3. Wedge the slit slightly with a knife or spoon.

  4. Push the chocolate buttons in.

  5. Wrap this in aluminum foil and place in the oven for 10 minutes. (Make sure the opening remains at the top.)

  6. Remove the foil, serve with peanut butter and sprinkle with coconut shavings.
